Gena Rotstein, Founder & Philanthropic Advisor 

Gena Rotstein is the innovative force behind Dexterity Consulting, Canada's first philanthropic brokerage firm and Place2Give.com, the ground breaking, on-line donor-centered, search-match-donate search engine.

With over 15 years of non-profit work experience throughout Canada and the United States, Gena has evolved into an expert matchmaker between businesses, philanthropists, and the myriad of ways they contribute to the charitable sector.  Her Karma & Cents(TM) model ensures that clients receive the biggest bang for their social "buck".

A graduate of Brandeis University in Boston with an MA in non-profit management and Jewish Communal Service, Gena has been interviewed by, and written for, international newspapers and web columns on fundraising and philanthropy.  Gena was recently named Top 40 Under 40 by Avenue Magazine and was a presenter TEDxCalgary. A regular speaker at various philanthropic events, Gena takes a new approach to an old sector with Philanthropy 3.0.

Bridget Warner, Client Account Manager

Bridget joined Dexterity consulting in the fall of 2008. She has worked with the non-profit sector for over six years in the areas of Direct Marketing and Database Management. Previously, she worked at an Investment Bank as a Senior Database Manager.  Bridget brings strong Project and Client Management skills to Dexterity, and enjoys working with clients to build social capital.

Adam Aptowitzer, LL.B

Adam has been speaking and writing on the topic of charity law for several years. He has been published in several publications including the Canadian Taxpayer, the Canadian Fundraiser and the Not-for-Profit News and has been cited as an expert in several publications including the National Post.

As a speaker, he has presented to the National Symposium of Charity Law, the C.D. Howe Institute, the Association of Fundraising Professionals, the Canadian Association of Gift Planners, the Ottawa Estate Planning Council and made various presentations to large and small Canadian charities. He has also appeared at the Tax Court of Canada and the Federal Court of Appeal. Adam also co-hosts the popular A to Z of charity law in Canada with CharityVillage.com and is an executive member of the Ontario Bar Association’s Charity and Not-for-Profit Law section.

Lindsay Mitchell, Education Coordinator

Lindsay, a graduate of McGill University, brings a passion for helping people understanding the potential impact of their donations, as well as experience in strategic education and program development to the Dexterity Consulting team. Her non-profit experience includes 6 years with Engineers without Borders (EWB) Canada for whom she is still acting as the Corporate Social Responsibility advisor as a representative on the Interim Executive Committee for the CSR Centre of Excellence.  In 2008, Lindsay was recognized as one of Canada's Top 100 Most Powerful Women in the Future Leader's category.
